MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR-2016
I recently spent a couple of days in Wisemans Ferry, as my great great great grandfather was Soloman Wiseman.
I had grown up with this knowledge but knew not much else. The original house is still there, gravestones are still there, even a statue of him but the thing that amazed more more than anything was the surrounding bushland, cliffs and rocks. Not sure if it was the ancestral link, but definitely felt a connection...Such a beautiful inspiring landscape...
These are some of my quick sketches from that trip.....July 2016

BELLA ITALIA.....Solo Exhibition....2011
Beauty is abundant in Italy, that goes without saying. These are from my solo exhibition "Bella Italia",...2011... painted after a magical trip to Italy.
IT'S A LOVE THING.....Solo Exhibition....2015
An exhibition of paintings portraying shared love....
Inspired by the online photos of the Helping Hands Vietnam program.
Through social media I became aware of Terry Donnelly, an old friend from my teenage years and the organization he set up in Vietnam, working with volunteers and more recently his Helping Hands project.
The love, compassion and sheer joy, that comes from working with the children and communities and is so evident in these photos, impressed me so much, and because I love painting people, I decided to do this exhibition.
All sales donated to the Helping Hands Vietnam Program which helps disabled and orphaned children and the disadvantaged in Vietnam communities.
